D.M. Jepsen, Inc. was established in 1984 by cousins David Jepsen and
Michael Jepsen. They were young, energetic and eager to make their
company work. They started small, worked hard, but eventually Michael
Jepsen found that being a contractor was not his calling and he moved on
to a more fulfilling position with Bohannon Organization.
With hard work and by utilizing his skills, David was able to grow his
company. By 1986, he started recruiting employees who would help him
achieve his goal, which was to provide an opportunity for anyone to learn
a trade. Through the years, a core group of loyal employees have helped
him to become a recognized name in the electrical field. In 1988, the
company was growing; consequently Moira Jepsen relinquished her
career in X-ray Technology to become CEO/Office Administrator.
In 2001, the officers of D.M. Jepsen, Inc. felt it would be beneficial to
create another company. Jepsen Electric, Inc. was incorporated in 2001
and performs all private work. D.M. Jepsen, Inc. continues to thrive
while performing Prevailing Wage jobs exclusively.
